PowerSearch Brochures
PowerSearch is an innovative online RF design and microwave path design tool that generates RF propagation and microwave terrain profile results through the Internet. PowerSearch offers basic and full RF design capabilities to provide an ideal tool for both engineers and non-engineers. PowerSearch also provides full microwave analysis features plus efficient searches for all registered antennas, co-locate towers and FCC and FAA approved and/or identified structures.
PowerSearch is the first fully web-based product to offer accurate RF site design, Microwave Profiling, Market Ownership details, and Structure Searching capabilities all in one tool. With PowerSearch, users can design sites, view coverage projections, perform intensive market ownership research, and even design full microwave systems - complete with link budgets - all without having to load large software packages and terrain data files onto each computer or waiting days to receive results. Site Acquisition, Financial Planning, Construction and other field Personnel (as well as RF Engineers) can now project accurate, full-color, fully interactive presentational mapping results on any PC with web access and an internet browser.
Microwave Terrain Profiling

This search function focuses specifically on generating results for all microwave (M/W) FCC filings. This unique database is the best source for approved microwave tower and structure data. Information from this database will help you generate accurate Lat & Longs. For a filing to pass through the FCC it must have an 854 registration number, which means it must pass FAA airspace regulations. Throughout the process your Lat, Long, tower heights, ground elevation, etc. must match or your filing will not be approved. You must then make the appropriate corrections and resubmit it.
Changing a simple Lat & Long a few seconds can wreak havoc on a company or a co-locate facility resulting in serious delays. Using this database in combination with our other databases will help ensure your filing will pass through with matching structure data.
Enables instant determination of microwave path viability between two sites. PowerSearch also offers full path design features that factor in site, antennae, cable, equipment, and outage specifications.
Microwave Analysis and Coordination

PowerSearch's online point-to-point terrain profiling will help determine if a microwave path can be achieved between two sites. Utilizing a key component from our RF designing tool, users can view a quick point-to-point terrain profile for basic path analysis. For more advanced users, a full design profile can be performed by entering frequency, tower heights, ground elevations, K factors and by selecting an antenna from the thousands of antenna manufacturers and types available within PowerSearch's database. The basic profile can be performed by anyone with general engineering knowledge while the full design profile requires a microwave engineering background. PowerSearch immediately generates and displays your profile results in a new profile window. Results can be easily outputted for presentational documentation by using the print feature.
Complete full microwave research, analysis and coordination; scan the most complete microwave database available; perform full interference, availability and keyhole analysis for each path. All of this quickly accomplished with PowerSearch's powerful interface.
Online RF Design

PowerSearch's most unique feature is its online RF propagation capabilities. PowerSearch is the first product to offer full online RF propagation which projects network coverage for a specific tower location. With this propagation feature, which utilizes a key component of our RF designing tool, users can perform a basic or full propagation projection showing a multi-point coverage contour for a selected site. This coverage contour displays signal strength thresholds identified by user selected colors. RF Propagation factors in terrain data, antenna type and height, sectors, link budget calculations plus general power, azimuth, frequency and down tilt specifications. PowerSearch's RF propagation feature can be used by anyone with general engineering knowledge and familiarity but is best used by someone with a full understanding of RF engineering. PowerSearch immediately generates and displays your RF propagation results. The ability to perform quick and efficient site coverage evaluation analysis over the internet will help reduce site evaluation time requirements saving valuable network design time.
Engineers and non-engineers can generate site coverage projections on any computer with Internet access and a compatible browser.

By selecting an area on the map, your search results will locate all wireless transmission structures registered with the FCC. This FCC type database has become one of the most accurate wireless transmission structure resources available.
This database was created when the FCC incorporated mandatory registration for all structures that required FAA clearance. This meant companies could get heavily fined if their data was inaccurate and/or if someone had hit their structure due to incomplete or missing data. Companies had to take a look at all of their structures and correct any "miscalculations" that they had found. They had to then re-file with new and accurate survey data. This database is updated and scrubbed each week.
Antenna Registration allows you to perform searches on the following criteria: Antenna Registration Number, Owner's Name, FAA Tower Number, City/State, Latitude/Longitude and Ring.
Search multiple tower databases with one easy-to-use tool. Users can select PowerSearch's unique polygon map tool to set custom search areas, or make rectangular selections quickly and easily.

Extensive Cellular and PCS market research and analysis tool covering the USA, Guam, Puerto Rico and Samoa. This is NOT the FCC database. Data is painstakingly gathering through our partner American Roamer, which has been providing high level market information for over 15 years in the wireless business. With information down to sub-county levels, users can research: Ownership (by names you recognize), Technology type, Deployment and Spectrum. Nationwide search results of owners, technology and spectrum, compare combined spectrum of two companies outputting thematic maps of total owned frequencies of Cellular and/or PCS. Perform demographics of 1990 or 2000 of market boundaries, and with “Marketed Coverage”, overlay the carrier of choice over the spectrum owned, owner or structures found in an area! Once research has been performed in the various tabs, click the “thumbs” tab for a two-page output of the all the maps. This one section is simply unmatched in the industry. Data is updated monthly.
View technology and market ownership data, including affiliated companies, by market block. Data can be displayed by city, state, BTA, and MTA.
